Saxon Shore Way Expedition

The two day expedition along the Saxon Shore Way between Faversham and Herne Bay took place on 3rd and 4th July, in what turned out to be the only dry and sunny two days of the week! After a tiring first day the group camped at Seasalter and spent the evening in Whitstable, before setting off for Herne Bay on the second day. An enjoyable time was had by all, as the photos below show. Students will be producing their own expedition blogs to record their achievements and understanding of this area of the North East Kent coastline.

Year 12 Level 3: Unit 9 Outdoor & Adventurous Expeditions

Follow up to the London Loop Navigation Exercise on 18 April 2012.

You will need to complete an Expedition Report for this expedition. This can be found on the G Drive in the Unit 9 Folder, under the title "P4 Expedition Report". You should produce this in a similar manner to the report for the first expedition. Once completed, print off a copy for assessment. (Make sure that you have produced the first Expedition Report, as you need two!

There is also an Observation Report "P4 Observation Report", which you will need to print off with your name on it. I will then provide written observation evidence for you.

In addition, you will need to make sure that the 2 Campcraft Skills sheets are completed. These are also in the folder, titled "P4 Campcraft Skills 1" and "P4 Campcraft Skills 2"

You will then have to complete P5 "Review of Planning & Undertaking" and P6 "Personal Development Plan" to pass the unit. Template reports for P5 and P6 have been loaded onto the G Drive for you.
A Gentle Reminder:

Scott: P1 and P3 still missing
Christie: P1 (pm) and P3 missing
